Company History

In business since 1972!

1972 - Established as part of the Risk Management Department of the Mead Corporation.

1980 - The organization was incorporated as Mead Loss Control Consultants, Inc.

1995 - The company was purchased from the Mead Corporation and Matrix Risk Consultants, Inc. was incorporated as an employee owned entity, with the same operating principles and loss control philosophy as Mead Loss Control.

1998 - A new Boiler and Machinery Engineering Consulting Department was added due to client requests.

2001 - A branch office was established in Atlanta, Georgia.

2004 - Formed strategic alliance with Predictive Services Corporation.

2005 - Formed strategic alliance with CEC Combustion Services Group.

2007 - Company stock was purchased by AXA Corporate Solutions Services. The company continued to operate under the same name with the same operating principles and loss control philosophy.

2008 - Major expansion plans were developed with the vision to make Matrix an international engineering organization.

2009 - Multiple international offices opening and staff increasing to 100+ engineers!
